About
As a clinical psychologist, Sian has worked across NHS and social care settings in specialist services for gender-diverse people and families, looked after children and young people seeking asylum, and within a psychological wellbeing service for healthcare staff. Her training in yoga therapy has informed and deepened her practice across these settings. She values integrative approaches and believes in considering how habitual patterns, relational dynamics and social and structural factors can impact our lives. Sian is committed to supporting people through a collaborative and appreciative stance, aiming to reconnect people with their values, resources and strengths and to develop tools to both be with and regulate emotions and experiences that can overwhelm. She is interested in somatic and sensory manifestations of distress and the place of movement, visualisations, rest, compassion, and hope in finding ways forward.
