About

Having qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1991, yoga has been an important part of Muna’s life in helping her to cope with the stresses of her job, burnout, sleep difficulties and chronic lower back pain. This, alongside a long history of chronic mental health illness within Muna’s family, was her motivation for undertaking the Minded Institute’s 580 hour Diploma in Yoga Therapy, as she had a desire to help people that were affected with mental and physical health issues, through the lens of yoga. Muna has subsequently undertaken the Minded Institute’s Diploma in Integrative Yoga Psychotherapy to offer increased psychotherapeutic support to her clients and a truly integrative top-down, bottom-up approach through working with the mind, body and breath.

Muna currently offers in-person 121 integrative yoga psychotherapy therapy sessions in West Oxfordshire, dealing with a wide variety of mental, physical and physiological health disorders. In addition, she offers group yoga therapy for stress, anxiety and depression (the Minded Institute’s 8 week course), insomnia and chronic pain, both in-person and online. Muna also teaches weekly Chair Yoga classes in West Oxfordshire.
