About

Margaret is a yoga therapist who offers personalised yoga therapy to support physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing. Her areas of interest include women’s health, musculoskeletal health, osteoporosis, stress and anxiety, sleep issues, resilience, healthy ageing, mindfulness, and yoga nidra.

Having taught yoga for almost 20 years, Margaret combines the principles of yoga therapy with evidence-informed practice to develop personalised programmes that meet each individual where they are. Her professional background includes nursing, midwifery, hospice care and complementary therapies. Following her own recovery from a serious car accident, Margaret developed an even deeper appreciation of yoga therapy’s potential to support healing and wellbeing.

Margaret believes yoga therapy is a collaborative process that is tailored to the individual. She works alongside clients to develop practical tools that support their unique goals, helping them reconnect with their bodies and enhance their health and wellbeing.

She offers a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental approach, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, supported and empowered throughout their journey.

Outside of her work, Margaret enjoys walking on the Lakeland fells, often including a refreshing cold plunge in a Lakeland tarn along the way. She loves travelling, meeting new people, and exploring different cultures through cooking and trying new foods.
