About

Lana is a warm and approachable person with 19 years’ experience working in mental health services in the NHS, public and private sector. As a practising psychologist, Lana integrates yoga and mindfulness into her therapeutic work including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She currently works with children, young people and adults facing mental health challenges in private practice in Central London, Sussex, as well as online. She provides one-to-one, family, and group-based mindfulness and yoga therapy, as well as training, consultation and supervision to professionals.

Lana is particularly interested in how mindfulness and body-based therapies can support children, young people, and adults suffering from trauma. She also has a special interest in ADHD. She lectures at the The Minded Institute on Yoga as Therapy for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and has co-authored a chapter on Yoga for ADHD in the book ‘Yoga Therapy for Mental Health: for yoga teachers, therapists & mental health professionals’.
