About

Kate is a Yoga Therapist in Glasgow, Scotland. She welcomes a variety of conditions but focuses on Trauma, Anxiety, Stress, Depression and Pain.

Since Kate is also a Body worker she has a deep interest in touch and relational connections and integrates this into her yoga therapy sessions in a playful and intuitive way. She is also a Scar Therapist so can incorporate this work within her sessions as a way to empower those who have visible scars. She is also currently in her last year of training as a Somatic Experience Practitioner which is a body focused trauma training and beautifully blends how we experience our bodies with the capability of expressing it in words, motion and meaning.

Kate has practiced yoga since she was 16, but it wasn’t until she saw the potency of how yoga supported her own mental and physical health that she knew this was something she wanted to share with others. She is aware of how many types of therapy there are but Kate has found that there is an expansive nature to Yoga Therapy which allows one to be creative and playful in a safe and empathic environment.

Kate is always one for the outdoors and loves being able to be in nature wherever she goes. Movement is her medicine and this can be expressed in running, hiking, dancing and even laughing, as movement is within all.
