About

Julie is an empathic yoga therapist and a trainee Integrative Yoga Psychotherapist with extensive experience in supporting clients through a variety of health challenges.

Her journey began in her 20s, using meditation to find balance and calm. As her yoga practice deepened, it helped her navigate difficult life experiences and fostered a healthier, more mindful approach to living. Following the passing of her mother, these practices took on even greater significance, offering Julie both solace and a space for healing.

This personal transformation inspired Julie to make a career change in her late 40s. Taking a leap of faith, she enrolled in a yoga teacher training course and hasn’t looked back since. With further training under Swami Saradananda and The Minded Institute, she now specialises in three key areas:

• Yoga Therapy for Stress and Anxiety: Providing private, one-to-one sessions either online or in person.
• Yoga Therapy for Addiction: Working in treatment centres, Julie offers group and one-to-one sessions, as well as private online support.
• Yoga Therapy for Elderly Care: Offering therapeutic care in care homes and through private, one-to-one sessions.

Outside of her professional work, Julie loves spending time with her family and embracing the great outdoors, whether it’s hiking through nature, getting her hands dirty in the garden, or indulging her newfound passion for travel. When she’s not on a yoga mat or meditating, you’ll likely find her powering through a brisk walk or lifting weights, keeping both body and mind in balance with a good dose of fun and adventure!
