About
A degenerating spine brought Judith to yoga some 25 years ago. She realised quickly that fixing a bad back was not just about stretching and building core strength, but more a question of working holistically with the whole self.
Teaching from the depth of her being, building inner mental and physical strength and flexibility, she believes that the body and the mind are inextricably linked and if one is out of sync, the other will be affected.
Judith trained initially with Steve Harrisson at The Yoga Sanctuary in Southampton and then with Heather Mason at The Minded Institute, qualifying as a yoga therapist in 2014. Since then, she has supervised new yoga therapy students, regularly run the 8-Week Minded Yoga Therapy course, delivered Yoga for Health courses for the NHS, worked with private yoga therapy students in her private practice and in 2020, became a Director of the Yoga in Healthcare Alliance. Working with the breath, yogic philosophy, psycho-education, movement and mindfulness, Judith draws on evidence-based research from yoga and neuroscience and is currently training with The Minded Institute to integrate psychotherapy into her work as a yoga therapist.
Judith offers concessions for The Minded Institute trainee yoga therapists looking for supervision.
