From January 2017 to November 2018, I was Chair for BACP Coaching. I served on BACP’s Coaching Executive from March 2014 to September 2019.
I run Feel Better Every Day with Eve Menezes Cunningham (aka selfcarecoaching.net) and, whether we work together or not, I hope you’ll find the resources on my site and blog, my social media, book and in a wide range of articles and columns helpful.
If you’re after a more structured approach, the Call of the Wild ~ Be Your Own Self Care Coach online membership programme may be of interest.
They’ll encourage you to connect with your inner wisdom, prioritise your self care, and do more of what helps you Feel Better Every Day.
As a freelance journalist and advice columnist, I write mostly about psychology, health and wellbeing.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to interview world renowned wellness experts including Martha Beck, Robert Dilts, Paul McKenna, Sonia Choquette, David Emerson and Julia Cameron.
If we work together, the choice, in terms of the ways in which you want to work and what you want to focus on, is yours.
I love working with people who are ready to prioritise their mental health and wellbeing. Taking a unique holistic approach, I help them create happier, fuller and more peaceful lives.
I was (and remain) my first client
I have personal experience with insomnia (from primary school until my 20s), trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, chronic pain (eased by complementary therapies and big lifestyle changes and a focus on self-care) and, of course (who doesn’t?) stress.
I also have personal experience of getting unstuck and making changes – large and small – to transform my own life, guided as much as possible by what brings more joy. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been interested in finding things that work. Tools we can use to help ourselves.
All of the therapies I use have helped me as well as countless clients.

I love teaching people how to help themselves with simple self-care tools for the mind, body, heart and soul.
I introduce many of these tools in my book, 365 Ways to Feel Better: Self-care Ideas for Embodied Wellbeing (White Owl, 2017). You can access free bonus videos and other FREE RESOURCES.
As well as sharing these tools with clients and students, I use them daily myself.
Eve Menezes Cunningham qualificationsI set up my private practice after I qualified as a complementary therapist and life coach in 2004.
Since then, I’ve added other therapies and supervision as I’ve qualified in them.
While I love working creatively, it’s important to me to work ethically and effectively. I’m a member of the appropriate professional bodies for the therapies I offer and you can click the logos below if you’d like to find out more.
I offer a unique, personalised, collaborative approach. While I’ll draw your attention to potential ways forward in our work together, the choice is always yours.
