About
Cat is a qualified yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist. She has worked in NHS and Local Authority mental health services for 15 years. She currently works in an NHS eating disorder service with adults, as well as running a yoga therapy practice in South London and teaching yoga locally. She is also a supervisor on the Minded Institute yoga therapy (580h) training programme.
Cat is passionate about using yoga for mental health, ignited through her own journey exploring the benefits of yoga for mental and physical wellbeing. In her NHS role and as a yoga therapist Cat works with individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups, as well as running workshops. She supports participants to explore the body-mind connection through movement, breath practices, meditation and relaxation, as well as considering wider lifestyle, in order to alleviate suffering and promote healing and wellbeing; reconnecting with the light we all have inside. Cat also specialises in working with families, friends and carers who support a loved one with a mental health difficulty.
