About
Ali began her journey with yoga over 25 years ago. Running group classes for many years, she began to support individuals one to one with health conditions and injuries. This eventually inspired her to train as a Minded Yoga Therapist and, more recently, as an Integrated Yoga Psychotherapist– enabling her to apply all that she has gathered and learned to help others to move towards healing through an integrated body-mind approach.
Ali has also worked for many years in the charitable sector. This has greatly enriched her human experience and helped her in better understanding people with a broad spectrum of lived experiences. She currently works part time as a Family Wellbeing Coordinator for a charity that supports children with additional needs and their families, providing individual and group support sessions and training courses. Ali has a particular personal and professional interest in supporting neurodivergent folk and people from the LGBTQ+ communities.
Ali is a supervisor on TMI’s 600hrs Yoga Therapy training diploma. She offers Yoga Therapy and Integrated Psychotherapy sessions from her home in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, and online.
