Michelle is a qualified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT Accredited) specialising in Mental Health, having studied with the internationally renowned Minded Institute and later became a supervisor on their Professional Teacher Training and continues to support students on the 580hr Diploma in Yoga Therapy.
Michelle offers specialised courses to those experiencing a variety of mental health and related physical health conditions. Through her own recovery from a debilitating anxiety and panic disorder and subsequent depression and OCD, Michelle guides her students through their own healing from a place of personal experience and professional expertise.
The unique and highly specialised approach to the treatment of mental health conditions offered involves a specific combination of yoga postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama), mindfulness, meditation, eastern and western philosophy, neuroscience, psychotherapeutic holding and psychoeducation.
Michelle’s caring and compassionate personality lends itself perfectly to students who are unsure or unfamiliar with this treatment modality, including those who have never practised yoga before.
Yoga Therapy is offered in one to one private sessions or small group classes and courses, both in person and online.
Michelle is based in both the United Kingdom and Australia and offers Yoga Therapy to clients worldwide.
