Louisa Caine

As a Yoga Therapist and Employment Lawyer, Louisa empowers people and workplaces to flourish. She is the Founder of the Pause Before https://www.thepausebefore.com.

She has a passion for working with people with mental health conditions specialising in yoga therapy and mindfulness for anxiety, stress, depression, addictions, sleep and pain management.

She has worked internationally in Sydney with the drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit of the Salvation Army, adolescents and staff at the Concord Hospital Centre for Mental Health, Sydney Council, and Teachers Mutual Bank. In London she works with the Minded Clinic in Camden, Sweaty Betty in the City. She also enjoys working 121.

Louisa is a Supervisor on the Yoga Therapy for Mental Health (500 hours) course with The Minded Institute and is actively involved in the start-up of the Minded Clinic in Camden and sits on the Steering Committee.

Louisa has been accepted into the Yoga in Health Care Alliance “Yoga4Health Programme” in May commissioned by the West London Clinical Commissioning Group to support sub-clinical health problems to support behaviour change and reduce social isolation. She is looking forward to taking yoga therapy into the NHS as an effective self-care intervention to promote health and wellbeing to patients and staff.
